The Unit, Maxes, and Conversions specifications contained herein are system wide.

Setting Units and Rounding

The type of unit and rounding presented in the user interface is determined by the country of a fleet's assigned company. Units for country's are maintained in Toolbox admin. The following unit types can be set:

†minimum value of all is 0, no negative values, see Mismatch Defaults and Limits
*length (depth) is determined by the user's region; pressure unit can be set per user

When entering values, all areas of Toolbox have a default value of null unless otherwise specified.

Mismatch Defaults and Limits

Unlike tread depth mismatch, pressure mismatch is specified in the Maintenance Policy; it is treated as a whole number (not a percent) in calculating pressure mismatch.

The pressure mismatch field begins with a default value the user may change within the parameters specified in the following table.

Minimum Pressure
When entering minimum pressure, the system should limit the value to 80% to 100% of the recommended pressure.

32nds Conversion

Translogik probes (bluetooth probes) are set at the factory to output pressure in millimeters (mm). Changing the probe's output unit of measure requires an additional application. Changing to 32nds is especially difficult, requiring development-level intervention.

For users in the US and Canada, Toolbox automatically converts the probe's millimeter output to 32nds. This avoids requiring users to download another application and further configure the probe.
